Deutschtown Music Festival

Once again, SSB is proud to sponsor the annual Deutschtown Music Festival, a free two-day indoor/outdoor music festival aimed at fostering community development in the Northside and promoting Pittsburgh’s live music scene. This event will return for its sixth year running on July 13th and 14th, 2018, bringing a jam-packed schedule of events beginning Friday evening and running throughout the day on Saturday. With family-friendly programming featured during the day and numerous bars and clubs participating throughout the night, there is a little something for everyone.

Voted “Best Music Festival” 2016 and 2017 and “Best Street Festival” in 2017 by Pittsburgh City Paper, this award-winning event has become one the most highly anticipated local music events of the year. With over 300 bands, seven outdoor stages, 26 indoor venues, and a beer garden, there is quite a variety of entertainment to experience with your friends and family. In addition to the music, there will be a handful of other programming featured throughout the day including 20 food trucks, children’s activities, an artists’ market, and much more. 

Throughout the day and into the evening, two free shuttles with multiple stops in the Northside and North Shore will be available for the over 20,000 people who are expected to attend. With no tickets required, all you have to do is mark your calendar and make your way down to support this non-profit, all-volunteer event.
