Bookbag Giveaway and Northland Public Library's 50th Anniversary

Over the past few weeks, SSB's employees and customers have been gathering school supplies. The collected pens, notebooks, crayons, pencils, and craft supplies were used to fill bookbags that were then provided to local school children.

The supplies we collected were able to fill all of the bookbags. Additionally, the bookbags were gone in an hour! There was a great turnout and lots of happy kids with new bookbags!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our #StuffaBookbag supply drive! We (and the students who received them) were thrilled by your support. Stay tuned for more ways to help us support our community!

Many local families were thrilled to receive donated school supplies and backpacks.

This was a busy weekend, as SSB also sponsored live music at the Northland Public Library 50th's Anniversary celebration. The event included family-friendly activities, food trucks, performances by cartoonist and storyteller Joe Wos, and entertainment by the band “Meeting of Important People.”

We always appreciate the opportunity to support great community organizations. Congratulations to Northland Public Library on this achievement!
