Happy Retirement, Pam!

In our bustling McCandless branch, Pam has been more than just a teller. She’s been a source of warmth and the brightest light on the teller line. Pam joined the SSB team in 2021 after over a decade of service in the banking industry. Everyone on our team and bank customers loved working with her. As she begins her well-deserved retirement journey, we can’t help but reflect on the impact she's had on all of us.

Pam’s story is one of resilience. In her role at SSB and in her life, she has demonstrated the courage to embrace life fully despite its challenges. Now, in retirement, she plans to pursue travel. In addition to traveling back and forth from South Carolina, where one of her daughters resides, she wants to explore the wider world.

Pam’s departure leaves a void on our teller line, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to resonate within these walls. Her genuine care for each customer and her infectious smile brightened everyone’s day.

To celebrate Pam’s retirement, we took a leaf out of her book. Our whole team came to work decked out in our tropical best.

As we say goodbye to Pam, we do so with gratitude for her hard work and wonderful attitude. Thank you for being a shining example of resilience and the power of embracing life’s precious moments. We hope your retirement is filled with joy and laughter. You will be missed, but you will always have a home here at SSB.
